Bid Notice: City Hall Lower Level Renovation Project

The City of Grove City will receive sealed Bids until 10 a.m., local time, Wednesday, July 11, 2012 for its City Hall Lower Level Renovation Project (2012).  Bids received after this time will not be accepted.  Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award a contract to the bidder submitting the lowest and best bid under the competitive procedures described in the Contract Documents.  Direct questions about the Project to Grove City’s representative, Les Spring, Service Director, at 614-277-1100.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 27, 2012 at 10 a.m. at City Hall in the Lower Level at 4035 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123.

The full Contract Documents, including the Request for Bids, may be obtained from the City of Grove City, Office of Service Director, by providing a non-refundable fee of $50.00, payable to the City. Bidders may review the Contract Documents in their entirety, without charge, Monday through Friday during business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 4035 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123.   

Bidders should pay close attention to all of the requirements contained in the Contract Documents, particularly the Prevailing Wage provisions and various insurance and bonding requirements.

No Bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the bid opening.  Grove City reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best Bid for each contract.
