Grove City Sewer Reconstruction Project
The City of Grove City has authorized Insituform Technologies, LLC, to complete sewer reconstruction. The initial work is sewer lining reconstruction is complete. Crews are working to complete manhole rehabilitation, see by the end of February. Traffic and access to all properties will be maintained. Drivers are encouraged to use extra care when traveling through these areas. All work is weather dependent.
Download the Sewer Reconstruction Map to see the construction areas and the location of utilities affected.
Since part of the unique reconstruction process involves the use of water from nearby hydrants, there is a possibility of "stirring up" the water lines, even though great care is used. This could cause a temporary "red water" condition from loosened sediment in the water main. Should you experience a reddish tint to your water, Insituform Technologies, LLC, suggests you run your water until it is clear, which may take 24 hours.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause. Updates will be posted on the City’s website, Facebook and Twitter pages. If you have questions, please contact the Grove City Service Department at 614-277-1100.
